Mulberry (Bombyx) Silk Yarn, 4 Nm

Beautiful, single ply, luxurious, glistening mulberry (bombyx) silk yarn. Unbelievably soft and shiny! Excellent for knitting and crochet. The single ply makes it very soft and really accentuates the sheen. You will find it very difficult to give a piece away that you made with this yarn, no matter what good intentions you had when you started the project (we have all been there)! I often use knitting yarns as weft in weaving so make sure to keep that in mind, as well. 

This is undyed, sparkling white. Absorbs dye very well. I have used natural dyes from Maiwa and Botanical Colors very successfully with this yarn.
