Reeled silk is considered the finest product made from mulberry silk. It is made of continuous silk filaments "reeled" (or unwound) from the cocoon. It is so shiny/lustrous that it looks like it's been plugged into an electric outlet. It is soft beyond compare; strong; out of this world drape and hand. Reeled silk is strong enough for warp and weft. We have a limited quantity and we were able to get a really good price so enjoy!
