Mulberry Silk Yarn 60/2X2 (similar to 30/3), natural/undyed

A bit finer than 20/2, similar in size to 30/2. There are two strands of size 60 silk yarn twisted together and then 2 strands of that are twisted together, giving you a lace 4 ply yarn. This makes the yarn much stronger. It has the majestic luster of all spun mulberry/bombyx silk but is very strong and can handle some serious loom tension. This gives the yarn the strength to effortlessly be used as warp with the luminous beauty to shine as weft. 

Comes on cones of 500 g (17.6 oz) and 100 g (3.5 oz)
